Honorable Mention

I'm thrilled to say that I have two paintings accepted in the 25th Annual Miniature Art Exhibition at the Council for the Arts of Chambersburg Pennsylvania.
I first told you about the show here and displayed my entries. "Ocean Surf" was accepted as was "Morning Light" which won an honorable mention.
There were 392 entries from 120 artists. The Council was able to accept 180 pieces.
The opening reception is November 5th.

I especially love the Morning Light painting myself so no surprise that it won an award, Kathleen. Congrats on getting two of your works accepted, and the win, of course!

Congratulations! Both pictures are lovely -- it's fun to work in small sizes, isn't it?

Nicloe - I loved reading about your llama trip. The photo looked just like the Ohio landscape!

Kathleen, I must have missed your previous post about this exhibit - congratulations, and well done!
My husband and I lived in Chambersburg when we were first married (both of my children were born there), and when I first started to get interested in painting I joined the Chambersburg Art Association! I am going to try to get up to the exhibit - will miss the opening because that is our 36th wedding anniversary!
