I just discovered the website picnik.. why didn't I know about this before?! What a fun place for editing photos. And they are shutting down. Being taken over by Google+. So if all that great software is incorporated into Google/Picassa, well I guess that's OK. I took a photo of a tiny painting of mine.. its about 1 x 2" or so and put it in a 'reflection' frame from Picnik. Endless possibilities.

Looking for spring...sigh... not here yet. So, inspired by my ACEO I painted an 8 x 10 - another pot of Pansies. I started with a ground of gold and glazed over it with green/gold among other things. I love these little flowers and have another on the easel - but that one has a different twist!

Paintings at the Bath Show

This semi-abstract painting is 22 x 28"  People see all kinds of things in this... some I see, some I don't at all. But that's part of the fun of abstract work. This is one of the two paintings that I entered in the Epiphany Show at the Bath Church.

The first pansies of the season. Yellow and purple are such a winning combination and the little flowers have such personality that it comes together to make one of my favorite subjects. This is an ACEO  2.5  x 3.5"

First Show of 2012

I'm excited to kick off the New Year with this wonderful show! I hope you can come and enjoy all the beautiful  art work that will be on display.
