Land and Sea

I've been playing with colors, looking for the unusual without giving up harmony.
I did a seascape with a pink skyand teal water
and a stone wall/garden gate that is almost spooky with its skewed perspective.
Always looking for a different edge to keep things interesting.
Most of you know that I'm doing all my eBay listings on Tuesday evenings and Friday afternoons now and these two will be listed tonight.

Your latest aceo paintings are truly inspired. Keep up the good work and keep them coming.

Kathleen, these are looking wonderful! I love the paint application, and...that pink sky totally works!

Love the cemetary painting, but then I'm one to stop and prowl the cemetaries, reading the old headstones, enjoying the photographs that come with some of them, and imagining their lives, their stories...This gate beckons!

Hi BGE - thanks for the encouragement... keep IT coming!!

Karen, I love pink. I think its overlooked by landscape painters.

AutumnLeaves... thank you - I wanted this to be more than just a pretty picture but to have a sense of mystery to it.
