Snow Day!

Yesterday, when the Summit County Sheriff imposed a driving ban for all but essential workers I thought, "Ah! Thats not me!" So I had some time to paint and read and oh, yeah do some chores. All in all a really nice day if you dont count the 12" of new snow that fell.
Here's one aceo I painted - a snow scene, what else?

Kathleen, aren't snow days the best? Like winning a prize! Love your snow scene, it looks like the cold weather inspired you. I can't imagine the sheriff telling people to stay home. Texans love to get out in this stuff in their SUVs and pull one another out of ditches with large chains. ; )

Oh does this look familiar! But you have more snow than even we do in IN and IL. This is wonderful! Don't you love the winter painting?

Nancy I loved it! What a gift. i think he said that because of the bad visibility and the ice... they couldn't keep up with the accidents.

Very nice snow scene! Thanks for commenting on my beach scene recently. I do enjoy painting out on our usually warm sunny days here. Though my next blogged painting will be of a chilly night scene at Pensacola Beach.
