This cow was photographed in Alabama. I chose to make it early morning. The painting is done in acrylic on canvas board and is 16x20"

Those of you who know me I am only recently acquainted with cows. We went to the Ohio State Fair http://kathleenharrington.blogspot.com/search?q=ohio+state+fair this past summer and I actually touched a cow (very bone-y) They are huge animals - having only seen them from the car window before this year I was shocked by their size and girth.

And this great sign was part of a display in the cowbarn at the fair. "Show Girls" - a great title for another cow painting someday.
