Passion and Serenity

There's been a lot happening in my world the past week - and its going to get a little more hectic. Baby Boy Harrington, third grandson, is set to arrive in the next few days and I am the Grandma on call. So a calm, serene painting is called for. This ACEO of a path along the river is pretty mellow/yellow calm spring green.
And I was so happy to receive this lovely"Passion for Painting" award from Ann Gorbett. I need to write 7 things that I love and then pass the award onto 7 other artists. Watch this space!

The brushwork is exciting on this one. Almost a van gogh moment with the sky and the twist of the tree tops. Nice!
Congrats on your achievement!

Hi Kathleen: I can't wait to see your list.
I just realized you live near where I grew up-Chagrin Falls (actually Bainbridge). I knew I felt a connection!

Thanks Brian. I liked the way the sky turned out... and gals, can't wait for the baby! it may be tomorrow!
Ann - I was in Chagrin Falls last week. Still beautiful. There's been a lot of building in the Bainbridge/Aurora area.
I'm in a show in Reminderville this month!
