Oh now this is exquisite! I see this same scene often in some of the waterways near where I live.
Can I ask a question about your palette? Is yellow ochre a common denominator? (I'm not meaning to be rude, truly curious as I try to figure out colors and how they look against other colors. I love how you use color!)
These little guys have so much personality! Of course its not rude! I used yellow ochre in the foreground here and mostly hookers green dark and a little burnt sienna. On this one I covered the card with gel medium first then used the acrylics in thin coats in the background.
