- and I had an Epiphany --;-) why not do do a Whiskey Painting? This is the monument in the Town square in Twinsburg Ohio. The painting, like all whiskey paintings,  is small - about 4x5"

Day 5

A snowy January day is the perfect time to paint some colorful flowers. This painting is 4X6", acrylic

Day 4

On Day 4 I did a small 2.5 x 3.5" painting. This size painting is called an ACEO - an Artist trading card.

A nocturne inspired by the the Village of Peninsula which sits at the bottom of the valley on the Cuyahoga River.

"Grape Day"  today's painting is brought to you by the color purple - and there are so many shades. I wanted to concentrate on reflections and highlights. It is 5x7" 

Day 1

The first day of the 30 day challenge - an ACEO I call " Double Trouble" 

Maybe an odd choice for a sunny winter day but it's where the muse led me. 

An ACEO is always 2.5 x 3.5"

There's nothing like starting the New Year off with a challenge! No, I'm not talking about resolutions here. But a commitment to do something- in this case to paint a picture a day for 30 days. And in making this a public commitment I'm making it harder to back out.
So starting Janaury 1 I'm joining Leslie Saeta  and hundreds of other artists around the world in a painting challenge.

I'll post the paintings here. Now I'm off to get my supplies ready!
